Viking Race French Qualifier

The 11, 12 and 13th of November was the first VRQ (Viking Race 2006 qualifier). The selection is based on:
the 3 best results are then kept to obtain the ranking.
21 Pilots attend to the first selection contest, in the south east of France, near Marseille. Weather forecast were very pessimistic with lots of rain. Finally we managed 10 rounds in difficult condition on saturday (lots of showers), and with a strong wind on sunday (11 to 15 m/s). Slope was a backup slope because the wind direction (east, south-east was not the main one).
Next (and last) qualifier is mid march 2006. Then the F3F french team will be finalized. Stay tuned !
